## A new name for Drawn Show

I had chosen **"Drawn Show"** because it was easy to remember and had impact in English. Unfortunately, this idea was cut short during the first administrative steps of its realization.

After some thought and a short community vote, the new name chosen is **"Drawn Lights"**, in French: _"les lumières dessinées"_.

I really like this new name because it keeps the "drawn" wordplay and everything that was built around it before.

## A new ambition

At the end of September, I was fortunate to join the **Courbevoie** pre-incubation program, [« Check ton projet »](https://entreprise.ville-courbevoie.fr/2896/creer-et-developper-son-entreprise/preincubation-avec-check-ton-projet.htm).

I met other entrepreneurs there, some more advanced than me. I presented the Drawn Show project to them as I described it at the time:

**Drawn Show was a "platform to assemble drone shows like a playlist".**

I realized my hook wasn't understood.

I then presented the project to professionals in the field (drone shows). They all confirmed that the idea was good, but not pushed enough. The market had already existed for several years, the actors were multiple and creation was only one issue among others.

Misunderstood by both experts and the general public, it was time to find a new ambition. Here it is:

**Drawn Lights is a marketplace for drone shows.**

It brings together industry players around qualified content and projects.

Moving from a description of a single use case (assembling shows) to a proven business model (the marketplace) rekindled the enthusiasm of my relatives (and my new entrepreneur friends) who follow me in this adventure.

## A new communication

Repositioning yourself in your head and orally is only a first step; next, it has to be put into writing. Naturally, a new showcase website was needed, and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Better communication will also involve writing articles, regularly, I hope!
