Drawn Show is no more, long live Drawn Lights!
A new name
Finding a project name is difficult.
I had chosen "Drawn Show" because it was easy to remember and had impact in English. Unfortunately, this idea was cut short during the first administrative steps of its realization.
I was about to publish this new name when I realized that this wasn't the only change to make to the project.
A new ambition
At the end of September, I was fortunate to join the Courbevoie pre-incubation program, « Check ton projet ».
I met other entrepreneurs there, some more advanced than me, others less so. I presented the Drawn Show project to them as I described it at the time:
Drawn Show was a "platform to assemble drone shows like a playlist".
Incomprehension in the room.
I then presented the project to professionals in the field (drone shows). They all confirmed that the idea was good, but too late or not pushed enough. The market had already existed for several years, the actors were multiple and creation was only one issue among others.
Misunderstood by both experts and non-experts, it was time to find a new ambition. Here it is:
Drawn Lights is a marketplace for drone shows.
It brings together industry players around qualified content and projects.
This new ambition had the effect of an anti-wrinkle cream on my relatives (and my new entrepreneur friends) who follow me in this adventure.
A new communication
Repositioning yourself in your head and orally is good; putting it into writing is better. A new showcase website was needed, and I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
Better communication will also involve writing articles, regularly, I hope!

I have planned many things, but here's a brief overview:
- List more drone shows for spectators (see here)
- Publish more articles about Drawn Lights and drone shows in general
- Animate the beta phase of the project (accessible for free here)
- Deploy 3D preview of marketplace content
- Share feedback on a high-precision GPS (RTK), sent by a brand, on one of my drones
